revisiting this design again and realising it's one of the more ridiculous things I've ever worked on.

xmas fairy lights, but each "bulb" has 6 addressable channels, and each channel is a chain of three white CRI90+ LEDs - four chains of 3000K, two of 3500K. the individual boards are 9x14mm, 4L 1oz/1oz copper, ViP, ENIG.

the back side of each board has a pair of WS2811N ICs (I'd prefer the newer 16-bit ones but they don't make them in DFN8) to drive the LEDs.

PCB layout for a small board. It has 12V, GND, and data pins on each end. most of the actual parts aren't visible, it's just copper pours.
3D render of the board underside. Two WS2811N ICs in DFN8 packages are present, plus some passives.
3D render of the top side of the board. There are 18 LEDs on it, plus some festive little decorations on the silkscreen.
Panel layout for production and assembly. 10x5 layout, so 50 boards per panel. They're vertically separated by V-cuts and horizontally separated by milling passes.
