The annual Rising Stars in EECS, a workshop for graduating women looking for research positions, is being held at the University of Washington this year while sexual harassers are still working in the same building. It’s obviously an attempt to rehabilitate their reputation but it’s absurd to put a bunch of women that need the mentorship in an unsafe environment.
