Data centers are increasingly going to be military targets. Something for people to think about when allowing them in their communities.

@inthehands Trump even made a bunch of the tech bro CEOs reserve officers in 2025, didn’t he?
People don't think about how many places qualify as military targets.
I spent most of my life in St. Louis, where we regularly had drills because (I found out later) there was a federal mapping facility just south of the county line. We also had federal district courts and the county government.
A lot of things we don't think of as part of war become so when war starts.
I mean… I live in Montana

I'm surprised Florida isn't high with CENCOM at McDill. I mean, I don't WANT it to be high. It's that even as a (what's it called?a "psyop"?), I'd take out the King's home. I realize he's a transplant, but he does live here now.
I’d think of MacDill* as the back office. They (CENCOM) are the paper pushers. Not the actual assets that are being deployed.
(I also have the impression that the current administration puts little value on what the experts think anyway… lessening their importance as a target.)
* I was stationed there in the early ‘80s when they made it CENCOM. The base was mostly pilot training for F-16s at the time.
Huh, I just looked up MacDill on wikipedia and you should probably ignore most everything I said… the base has changed dramatically from what it was in the early ‘80s.
IIRC, my dad was stationed at MacDill in the 60s.
