    @evan

    I don’t think even the progressives have an agenda of purging the damage inflicted on institutional function.

    This is despite the fact that voting the GOP out of office is not enough. The institutions, the people, the corporations, the billionaires who have methodically waged war on the American people for over a half century need to be dismantled.

    It’s not enough to put politicians in office what is necessary he is a wholesale methodical cultural shift to dismantle their abuse

    @evan they don't, nor do they want to. They strive in the "lesser of two evils" space. They have no intention of improving anything, only to just ease the transition back to feudalism.

    @evan I think some parts of the Democratic Party have an idea. They seem to mostly be the progressive caucus of the Democrats. The OG part of the Democrats remains blissfully unaware that there is an eminent threat to this country and the phone call is absolutely coming from inside the house.

    @evan
    I'm "No, but".
    Where the "No" is for the centralized Democratic Party "machine" which is much more "center Right" and corporate captured than it is Progressive / leftist for the people.

    And the ", but" is for individual candidates and lower level Democratic Party organizations at the county and local levels who have been thinking about and implementing plans to reach out to folks mired in far-right populism.

    @evan No political party can change the American culture. This and future generations of Americans will continue to install a pedophile/rapist/criminal/conman as their POTUS. 🙄
