It was only 10 years old and they called it “medium old”. They thought it’d be torn down by 1973.
Rent, adjusted for inflation, would be $697.88 today.
And the home value, adjusted for inflation, is…
$13,027.00
A used 2008 Honda Element costs more.
Imagine buying a whole ass house, only 10 years old - with real hardwood floors - for $13k.
