My arm doesn't even hurt.

(In all seriousness, this the first year that the covid vaccine didn't knock me on my ass. Get vaxxed. Getting knocked on your ass for a day or two is better than some of the alternatives. Also, getting vaxxed is so cool.)
@Wallflower Everybody who safely can, should. Got my flu and covid vaccines recently. My only recommendation is for side sleepers. Just get it on the other shoulder. It might be sore for a day or two, but you thrived in mosh pits, you'll be fine.

@Wallflower Lucky you! I got my flu and COVID vaccines in one arm last Friday. My arm wasn't as sore as usual but I felt like crap all day Saturday. Back to normal on Sunday! (Pro tip: If you are a side sleeper, get your vaccines all in one arm.)

That is what the pharmacist said and someone else here, and I did that.
@Wallflower Ah, good. Ya, I made the mistake of getting one in one arm and the other in the other arm one time. It wasn't easy trying to sleep on my back. Nearly impossible, actually.
@elaterite @Wallflower i sleep flat in my back so I get one each. But I get the most painful one in my non dominant arm. It wasn't too bad this year. What i'm surprised in six months I'll get a couple more and I'll see whether or not I can get all mrna.

@Wallflower @elaterite mrna covid so far, but I haven't had the mrna flu shot yet. Couldn't find that when I was due in Sept and didn't wait. Since I'm boostered every 6 months I don't find it as painful as the first couple of covids. Maybe I'm just tough. Flu shots rarely do more than hurt locally for a couple of days. I don't "get sick" from the shots as some folks do.
