It is with a heavy heart that I must confess to you that I *do not* want you to create an un-asked-for passkey for me while logging in with my password, after having to go through three extra clicks to select "use my password" instead of you sending a code to my phone.

I actually enjoy having a password manager that is cross-platform, and have neither the need nor desire for a Mac-specific passkey that is tied into just one of my many computers.

It's not you; it's me. *I* want to be in control of my own authentication systems.
