Alright, back to the cognitive regularly scheduled programming. I'm feeling pretty decent despite having a lot of recovery ahead of me. Very real chance I get back to programming again soon - I can't record any music because my throat is wrecked from the breathing tube, but while I was waiting with no phone or clock to get taken back and blown up like a balloon, I will say - I kept busy by thinking over stack VM stuff, and I think what I want to use it for is customization points in the parser and exec/eval, that type of thing. That's a nice constrained scope where most of the machine can be a crazy fast bytecode interpreter expressed in high-level operations.
