I'm not saying every version of the past was healthy about this or needs to be brought back in literal form, we're adults in the 21st century, but there's a *need* worth studying here and examining how we're going to fill it, rather than just... letting stuff simmer for a decade. Letting people act on partial information for a decade. Letting this dude believe in his wishful thinking that he was in the clear for a decade. It's all more explosive if you let it ferment.

My childhood actually would have been *less* complicated if it was public, instead of some missing stair shit, that I was related to a child sex abuser. People could have been safer.
