macOS Golden Gate: on the whole, a welcome day with a good feeling.

I suppose we'll never have the tranquil specular-edgeless widgets and app icons from Sequoia, or the beautiful Launchpad, but many of the touches feel logical and comforting, as though a touch of early-2000s spirit bubbled through.

(And I seem to have regained around 30 gigs of disk space after installing it. Was prolonged support for Intel machines taking that much?)
