The main unexpected pain point:

I've used "control-up" and "control-down" for display brightness for ages, and Golden Gate doesn't even acknowledge that so far.

Never too soon for feedback. ^ ^

macOS Golden Gate: on the whole, a welcome day with a good feeling.

I suppose we'll never have the tranquil specular-edgeless widgets and app icons from Sequoia, or the beautiful Launchpad, but many of the touches feel logical and comforting, as though a touch of early-2000s spirit bubbled through.

(And I seem to have regained around 30 gigs of disk space after installing it. Was prolonged support for Intel machines taking that much?)

Twice today in high-polish videos, I've noticed someone referring to an ellipsis using the pronunciation of "ellipses."

(Similar to the occasional occurrence of even medical professionals calling a vertebra a "vertebrae.")

My latest post reflecting on hosting my own site!

Common advice is just to begin with a hosting provider, perhaps one day transitioning with caution if you really want to. But now that I've finally done it, I've come out wishing I'd begun this way.

"Epstein Files" and "34 Convicted Counts Of Felony" are just names, people.

It's still the same lake.

"We could have done puppets too."

Happy Increased Momentum Day to those who accelebrate.

Has any transit service used the slogan "express yourself"? (Or is that more of a rental car thing?)
