i think the thing about Persona 4 that makes it feel like one of the most homophobic games i've ever played is that unlike other homophobic games which may have quite a lot of incidental homophobia, in Persona 4 you spent about 2 dedicated hours going on a mindscape journey to cure a teenager of his homosexuality so he'll be straight, which is like... genuinely really sickening to think too much about lol
