Unironically, Jordan really deftly balances comedians who mostly don’t have culinary experience with chefs who obviously do while mostly praising the chefs because they understand the challenges are ridiculous but also letting the judges critique and praise on their own. Truly Jordan carries this show not because they’re funny (they are) but from their ability to balance this being a comedy cooking show that involves judging and fun.
