  @kandid @loosenut I worked on a Connection Machine CM-2 with 8,192 processors, I believe it was expandable. We used C* (C star), a version of C with extensions for parallel processing. The system was at the University of Parma (Italy) in the '90s, primarily for image analysis and pattern recognition.

  @maxfarnea @loosenut i was wrong. not C++, it was C*.

  in my "analog Not analog" system i am using C++. and #Clojure as a domain specific language, translated to fragment shader code.
