Jul 19, 2026, 4:02 PM@Alonealastalovedalongthe its had somewhat of an adverse effect for searching for info about cars and their maintenance (I only started driving in 2019, so that was just before the AI started being deployed everywhere), but the LLMs were already training on "foundations of sand"
They are getting their info from male-dominated specialist forums where many of the posters are overly combative and contrarian and not really helping one another anyway - on top of which there are often important differences between what appears to be the exact same model of car depending where in the world you happen to be, which an LLM can't pick up that easily..
