Looking for a lightweight alternative to #anaconda to run #python scripts on Mac. I’ve been using #Spyder with just a few packages, a handful of scripts, to build my website from a CSV I dump from a huge spreadsheet. I liked the Spyder IDE.

Anaconda has just disappeared from the Mac since I last built the site, won’t run from GUI or terminal. (Spyder is still here, but won’t run)

My son is a scientist, suggested Anaconda as I was learning and setting this up, but maybe it’s a bit like running a nuke plant to make toast. And now it has disappeared itself anyway.
