    My UPS is dead.

It's the cheapest one possible, so should I replace the lead acid batteries or look for a new one?

I should mention this one can't shut down my servers in case of power failure, which would be nice to have.

Can anyone recommend an UPS for a small cabinet homelab?

    Thanks

@hmiron For a homelab the battery is the cheap part. A 12V SLA is a commodity swap and the electronics usually outlive it. The real question is whether that unit can trigger a clean shutdown over USB (NUT or apcupsd). If it only beeps and can't talk to the server, that's the reason to upgrade, not the dead battery.
