Jul 10, 2026, 1:36 PMThe fightback continues. T plus 40 hours. My body has remembered that the point of food is to hold onto it and digest it, not to expel it at the first opportunity. Headache (mostly caused by dehydration) is dissipating. Thoughts about things other than pain and stuff are possible. Yay.

Annoying coincidence of the last few days: I've been stuck inside. Also, it's been quite warm. And, my flat tends to trap the heat: all my windows face the direction of the sun when the day is hottest. So I have been dehydrating, and uncomfortably warm.
The other day, I ordered a home cooler unit — no idea how effective it'll be, but I'm looking forward to finding out. It got delivered to my local parcel shop on the same day I got ill, so I haven't been able to go and collect it yet.
The parcel shop is literally in the same building as me, five floors below my flat. Out of reach.
