I'm genuinely considering it... except the drawer border doesn't seem to handle dark mode. And I just checked, it's the same for the one remaining drawer in Mail!

I think I'm not brave enough though, it'll probably be a separate NSPanel instead.

There's still a drawer in Mail.app. I had to go open Mail just to play with it.

they've probably forgotten it's there. it's the only reason they haven't stomped it flat and integrated it into some tiny overly rounded corner of the main window.
