does anyone know anything about washing machines? Specifically washer dryers? Mine is making funny noises and not turning off when it starts taking water with the result that it fills and floods my kitchen when I open the door or the little filter thing at the bottom. @JustinMac84 Sounds like a sensor has gone which tells the machine to stop taking in water as its full.

@bermudianbrit 13 years. Copilot reckons it's a simple fix, but that's Copilot. Frowning face. Can't afford a replacement though. Sigh.
@JustinMac84 uh..yeah after 13 years...you're fucked I suspect. mine did a similar thing and fixing was almost the same cost as replacement
@bermudianbrit If Copilot's right, it'll cost me 40 quid to repair. I just have no way to confirm it's right or not.
