Yesterday was a government holiday in Jordan - 1st Muharram, hijri (islamic) new year. Today is normally a working day but everywhere they are to start not earlier than 10 am - because football. I personally boycott these games, but the Jordanians, first time participants in a world cup, are in general football crazy and now, as the game must be about to start, it is very quiet outside.
In our house everyone but me is sleeping after breakfast, my sweet Battuta on my feet.
