@violenteastcoastcity And it’s not even an expensive package ~ $15 max. I’m just so baffled by the whole thing. First time getting one of those mails from USPS, “hey we found your destroyed empty package”

@farah If that's the case, why do you suspect theft? It may have just broken open. The post office actually sucks, so I wouldn't be shocked that they were so rough with your package it broke. Oh the things they've delivered to me, in pieces....

@farah Happens all the time. I'd bet that's what happened here, for sure. If they delivered the package/label with the "sorry we fucked this up" message, that means they broke it, not that someone stole it. I mean I guess it could, but far more likely that they broke it. Sender should have had insurance on it, and if not, that's on them. But contact them and ask to be made whole - refund or more product. This was the USPS's fuck up, and the seller will recoup via insurance.

@farah Happy to help! I deal with the post office and logistics companies way too much, and in fact my husband's family used to own the Pony Express. So, all very familiar :)
