Child A's latest three books have arrived. At the rate they're going at this will last about a week.

I'm amazed by their reading speed. This year already they've read all (7!) Mortal Engines books. Luckily they seem open to #Discworld and they've already read the first two Tiffany Aching books (the second one currently being re-read).

I already own all the 'grown up' Discworld books they can graduate into. Also this way I can read the Tiffany Aching books, as the only one I've read so far is Wee Free Men.

We do get a lot of books from the library, but it's often hard to get the exact next book you need in a series.

@mihobu 😆 I know I've got no hope of keeping up. Since having children I've managed an average of about three books a year. Child A has the distinct advantage of time; because they don't have to: work, cook, clean, do laundry, paperwork, parent or doom scroll.

(I am trying to replace most of my doom scrolling with reading.)

@hl Yay, excellent reading choices. There so much great fantasy and, may I say, scifi for youngsters 12 and upwards.

    How old are your kids?
