Which films or series do you know with a plot that is hard to follow?

I'm thinking of

• Donny Darko (and S. Darko)
• Primer
• Serial Experiments Lain

There might be an element of intentional ambiguity. But for the most part I feel like the plots can be understood better by writing down their individual elements and connecting them.

Can you think of any movies or shows like that? Or something similar?
