Important lesson from rewatching John Wick: when you are approaching a corner with your gun drawn, and you suspect the person you’re fighting is on a given side, DO NOT stick close to the wall closest to them such that your gun will be in the open before you have line of sight.

Like, 10 different guys could have probably killed Wick or at least not been incapacitated immediately if they had just approached along the other wall making sure their gun and line of sight matched. Or gone around a second car nearby rather than the one he was hiding behind.

Then again, these guys were stupid enough to kill his dog, so I suppose they aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
