    The Democratic party has so many issues, but in terms of actual attempted legislation, they’re trying to first, stop the harm the GOP has caused, second, undo that harm, and finally figure out ways to prevent that harm without blowing everything up.

    Because folks think shit is bad now, a civil war + revolution (required to “tear the system down and build a new one”) would be infinitely worse, especially for non-cishet honkie males.

    They’re not the same, not even close and spreading that meme causes people to not vote, to not do the most basic parts of what’s required for a democracy to function.

    In a sense, it is spreading harm, a less direct form of harm than the GOP, but harm which leads to the same place.

    So yeah. That.

    Yep, this. Spreading the meme, building the framework, even in casual conversation. My managers at work, for example, who both just happen to be white males.
