    Music is one of the few things that keeps me sane(ish) in this fucked up world.

    As well as working on my own album of songs, which is almost ready for release, I'm fortunate to be able to regularly sit in with some lovely local musicians at a weekly blues session.

    Although piano is my main instrument, I also play acoustic fretless bass for fun.
    If money were no object, I'd buy an upright bass instead.

    Nothing beats the experience of playing live music in front of an appreciative audience.
    Even if it is in a less than salubrious, but also very safe bar.

    We do a range of songs ranging from Mississippi delta blues, Jump Blues, Chicago style blues to some jazz standards such as 'Georgia' and 'Summertime'.
