40 years ago I celebrated graduating from college with a car trip through then Yugoslavia and into #greece. South of Thessaloniki, I fell asleep in the back seat. The driver skidded on an oil patch and we rolled down the mountain. I woke up back in a Thessaloniki hospital corridor with a broken jaw. This leaves my mouth a dental wrecking field with an annual dental bill that would have paid for a house deposit by now. Yesterday I had 2 bone grafts and an implant put in. $6000 and I look like a chipmunk! So, no I don’t have #3goodthings except that after all these years, I’m grateful to be alive. I came really close to not making it.
