I was inspired to put together my own website, https://keydelk.sdf.org/ , based on the excellent guide, HTML for People ( https://htmlforpeople.com/ ). Thanks @bw for putting together that guide.
I do have a little prior experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but had never put together a full website written by hand. I put up a mock small-business website with WordPress for a class in business school, but I like the increased control of doing it by hand.
