It’s Monday, so I’m happily listening to Shop Talk Show. But oh nooo once again the info about what’s supported in Safari is not up to date!
Relative Color Syntax shipped in Safari 16.4!
Oh, and Google I/O videos said Safari shipped P3 color support in Safari 15.0. Nope. It was Safari 10.1. Five years earlier!!
(I suppose it technically has shipped in every subsequent version.)
@jensimmons You’d think they’d be able to type the feature into Can I Use before making claims, but I guess not
@jensimmons thanks for all the hard work making sure people know what works in Safari. It seems like a thankless job given the amount of hate out there :/
@jensimmons Was it 15 that shipped color space support for canvas? I remember that wasn't in the original release.
@choong Yes, Safari 15.2 added support for P3 in Canvas.
