"These Midterm Races Will Decide Data Centers’ Political Fate"
BWHAHAHAHAHA
that's a good one.
Except for, **perhaps**, a couple of them, the Democrats will absolutely be bought and paid for by data center cabal.
There is a reason the term "uniparty" exists.

The Duck Song, now delivering malware.
Knostic's AgentMesh discovered five malicious VS Code extensions impersonating Solidity and Hardhat tooling.
@cR0w I have 10+ unauth rce bugs and 0 traction on any of my reports. About to just drop them all on here. Waiting months for someone to look at and fix the bug is IMHO more unethical than just dropping it in public and letting people fix it right away.
new bionic enhancement: putting #DuckDB 2.0 on all the nodes in the tailnet, firing up the Quack server in each of them, and fronting each with a tailscale caddy reverse proxy.
The annual migration to their ancestral breeding grounds of the antlered giant prairie snail is a rare, but inspiring sight for any human to behold ...
"Influencers are the private equity of culture: draining whatever’s 'cool' until higher prices and worse experiences push out the original fan base. Then they move on to the next thing, leaving the original to die as fans lose interest or the ability to participate." — @brxxklynbxby__ on X
🦾 the momentum has def shifted in the [c]git wars, with recent tweaks clearly working to fend off the AI bot crawlers.
Still need to dig into the data and update the observatory, but just an eyeballing of this most recent chart passes the gut check (there should be very little human traffic hitting my cgit published repos, and fediverse OG previews shld be bursty).
Update in DC Election Dropbox on the GW Campus at 23rd and I, NW, in DC. As of 2:36 pm on Saturday Oct. 10th the National Guard is no where near the drop box and is not visible for blocks. Troops clearly got the message to disband which makes me think they were told to be there in the first place.
why, yes i am avoiding chores since the the waffle house side quest is a matter of national safety.
The regular pulls seem to be working and it also pulls the latest cone and spaghetti models (caption has the stamp).
I figured out how to do an hourly pull of every location, so there def will be a new Waffle House Index up this week.

Enshittification is the intentional degradation of products as companies shift focus from pleasing consumers to maximizing profits for shareholders.
The Norwegian Consumer Council hate enshittification and they're using humour to fight it.

I started collecting POST bodies in requests to my ai.rud.is site (it's low volume) so I could have those for use in cyber-jev (it works on all HTTP requests but POST bodies have good stuff in them for the classifications).
I'll do a blog soon on how to wire up the Caddy logs to cyber-jev once it gets enough data.
I might be able to re-up my ancient attempt at a Waffle House Index #RStats package! Their new hidden API is great.
~5% of Waffle House locations are temporarily closed as of a query a couple minutes ago.
FWIW this systemone decision model — https://huggingface.co/sdmlai/cyber-jev/tree/main — is pretty decent at classifying HTTP requests (it has two other tthings it was trained for) and is something one could model after for training other cyber "jev"-like models.
Anthropic and OpenAI paid cybersecurity vendors scads of $ for their documents, data, and training help with the explicit intent for these models to have the capabilities of elite red teamers readily available in the final embeddings with solid next-token draw probabilities.
What did they think would happen when they paired obviously bonkers incompetent human employees with these systems?
The exec teams of both companies need to be wearing orange jump suits.
