About 10 hrs ago, we enabled Visual Editor by default on English Wikipedia for first time mobile editors. We’re now seeing a dramatic jump in edit attempts! Successful Edits are also increasing (but at a smaller rate)- a first step toward engaging a lot more editors on mobile! this is in alignment and support of a recommendation from our Product and Technology Advisory Council to engage the global south and mobile editors! thank you to all the English Wikipedians who advocated for this change.

Wat ik trouwens ook leerde is dat de trein precies op tijd vertrok uit Parijs, precies op tijd aankwam in Amsterdam en dat het een enorm genot is om in slechts 3,5 uur te kunnen reizen van Parijs naar A'dam met veel beenruimte, geen gezeik met bagage en dat je niet het milieu naar de tering helpt.

Back when I first got a cellphone and slowly started forgetting phone numbers I remember thinking "OK that is scary, it really didn't take long for me to forget something that used to be second nature for me"

It has been 25-30 years since then, and today I have no idea what the phone numbers of even my closest peers is. Not using that skill just entirely obliterated it from my brain over time. I am not even sure how much effort it would take to get back into it.
