well as a workaround for i guess everything i forgot that wsl exists. I also now maybe mistakenly requested a mac laptop.

I truthfully do not know what is better. Technically wsl can get a de/wm working with gpu acceleration, but it's still spyware all the way down.

I haven't touched macos for many years. I assume it isn't completely terrible and is still unix-like enough to treat it like a terminal + web browser for the most part.

Why you want the grill hot: you want to char / sear the outside of the squash before it starts steaming and boiling the interior. If it’s cooked correctly the zucchini will still have structure but be cooked through, otherwise known as al dente.

Even if it is more mushy or soft you still get a lot of flavor. If you prefer this texture, then definitely use the lid method mentioned in the base toot!

I say cooked correctly because this is my recipe but there is no correctness in what tastes best to you or your dining companions.

Grilled squash:
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- any herbs you have
- garlic/onion powder optional
- zucchini
- optional lemon to finish

Mix all the dry ingredients, herbs, police oil into a big bowl tha will fit the zucchini

I didn’t do it right in the photo, but get the grill rippin hot. Whip the zucchini on there and let it get charred slightly. Turn until all sides are well cooked

Place in bowl w oil and seasoning. If you like them more cooked through put a plate or lid on the bowl to let the finish steaming.

Squeeze fresh citrus over before serving.
