Is there an easy way to move photos from my iPhone to my Linux box? There is not even a 'share to iCloud' button under Photos or Camera, and they are not visible under Files.

Does anyone have a favourite iOS app for Mastodon? Tusky is Android-only I think.

My use case is calling an external API to get the live price of financial assets so LibreOffice can calculate "this many dollars is that many units." You can do this in Google Sheets or by manually installing a LibreOffice plugin off GitHub but you should also be able to reference an external website with the live data and that feature of LibreOffice seems broken.

It seems like all the fn keys on the built-in keyboard work, and space (=Fn-Space) toggles keyboard backlight, but no other key on the built-in keyboard works

The keyboard of my Ubuntu 24.04 laptop ( a thinkpad T470s) no longer works, except that space is a shortcut to toggle keyboard backlights. FNLock is off. I can use an external keyboard. I am looking through documentation but any help would be appreciated! #ubuntu #linux

BTW, inviting people to sit around a table and then murdering them is standard premodern politics too.
