I did some baking this afternoon, an apple pie, and an apple custard type of thing, with the leftover apples.

Here is my neighbor's coast redwood tree, with bonus setting full moon, look carefully just to the left of the tree. I got the opportunity to climb this tree one week ago, to remove a hanging, dead limb, at over sixty feet up.

I really don't know what to say about this iris. It has been blooming for a few days...in January...in the rain. So unusual.

There are so many mushroom photos being posted right now, and after today's walk, I can add some more.

I love this view when the sunlight is just hitting the western side of the valley. Plus, an itty bitty holiday tree.

I had quite a bit of dough left over from the apple pie, so I made a couple of large jam pies also.

An interesting moth in the corner of the window today.

Finally! I have wanted to make a chicken pot pie for a long while now. Got it done last night. I surprised myself with how well it turned out. When we sat down to eat, my husband said, "you made one before ", and I was like, wait...what do you mean. Ha ha, must have been a long time ago, and I forgot about it.

What A Peach, still blooming in November.

I think this is my first post of a project. I am making a built-in closet. Really just basic accurate carpentry, but customized for me and spouse's needs. All of the interior fittings are done, and the face frame is installed and painted. Now on to the doors and drawer fronts!

Please understand something: if a Disabled person has to ask someone else for access to something – an elevator; a written transcript; an environment that accommodates their disabilities – that thing is not accessible.
