Today I discovered https://www.whocanuse.com and I wanted to yell it to the world, but 56 people will have to do.

Once you’ve seen what’s in Safari 16.4… or have had a chance to look up the latest support data on caniuse.com…

Dear web designers and developers,

What do you need next from Safari? What web technology do you most want implemented next?

We are listening…

It’s hard to express just how massive a release Safari 16.4 is for web developers.

Last night, I was reading replies web developers posted on Twitter back in 2021, when I asked what developers need most from WebKit — and the vast majority of things you asked for have now shipped.

What is your favorite feature that just shipped in Safari 16.4?? What will you do with it?

It’s exciting to see folks talking about implementing web push for their web apps! Be sure to create an interface that lets your users take the first step — so they can indicate that they want to get notifications. Like a bell icon or subscribe button. It’s up to *them* to opt in.
