New neighbours in the village. They are transplants from the city (Ottawa) and they have 4 teens. The teens have friends who are here (visiting?). The ghost town finally has some life. This is good.

But today, the youngest came by with her new friend, my gardening assistant and they were playing with 2 barn kittens on the porch.

Later when we were taking the dogs for a walk they came back. When we got back from the walk, one of the kittens was missing.
