Massive thanks to all the contributors, who are also too numerous to list, but a particular shout out to @calstephens for his tireless efforts in fixing bugs and reviewing PRs

@nicklockwood It’s highly appreciated. I am not new to SwiftFormat but lately I have been using SwiftFormat (and SwiftLint) more and more to codify as much Swift code conventions and even some architectural rules as possible. With AI doing increasing amounts of work, I believe that such tools are becoming truly indispensable if one wants to produce and importantly review AI-generated code at scale. Big thanks and congrats 🙏 🎉

@nicklockwood snapshot sounds cool. Is that a feature other formatters have or a fresh idea? Written up somewhere for reference?

@tikitu the idea sort of arose naturally from the way the cache already works. I thought of it about 7 years ago but never got around to it until now 😅

@nicklockwood that’s a nice incubation period! It strikes me as a really nice model (if I’m understanding it correctly), worth blogging or something maybe? I think the Android ecosystem has something similar, and I remember it made adopting new checks a much easier sell in the one team I saw go through that.
