@scanlime even better, vga! it has a color reduced preview window with optional dithering. or it can shell out to an external viewer of your choosing.

@scanlime clunky ol dos modeler for povray called povlab! i normally code scenes by hand but theres a few really really old tools i keep around for funsies (and i wanna write about em)
