We are on the road to Shizuoka City, where we'll spend the night before heading to Kakamigahara in Gifu tomorrow morning
Bought vending machine "latte," in scare quotes, because it doesn't actually contain coffee. It's supposedly made with chickpeas and chicory, but tbh it's too overwhelmingly milky and sweet to make anything out. I'm not a fan lol
Currently at a service area in Ashigara. It is surprisingly chilly haha, we did not pack any long-sleeved shirts and are now paying the price :neofox_boop_nervous: Then again this is pretty high-altitude so it shouldn't be this cold in Shizuoka City or Gifu... I hope...
Our hotel is in Kakegawa, near Shizuoka City. It was the cheapest one Daikon could find, but because we're out of Kanto it is still a bigger room than you'd get from a much more expensive place in Tokyo lol. But the downside is that the room we're in obviously used to be a smoking room that later got converted to non-smoking, and the toilet/bathroom REEKS because the ventilation is poor :neofox_melt_3: Swings and roundabouts lol
