Sunday morning mini-project. (Not pictured: Saturday we prototyped the idea with cardboard and hot glue.) Materials: chopstick, toothpicks, and some light wood from the hardware store left over from a pre ious project.

Small woodworking tools (some very small) arrayed on the floor, together with some small pieces of wood, a jar of toothpicks, and some quantity of sawdust.

A wooden construction in my hand. It has a rectangular base, five tiny uprights (they’re toothpick sections) and a wider pole supported on the uprights.
