It's spelled "just deserts"? What the fuck, it's pronounced like dessert, not desert! I'm livid.

In an Eclipse Phase game right now. (A transhumanist RPG) Literally half of the players have clothing or pins signaling support of transgender folks.

Sasuga.

Apparently you can't get a consistent answer from these fuckers on why the U.S. attacked Iran, so it's the Epstein War.
It successfully got ICE and Epstein out of the news.

How many days has the Epstein War lasted now?

I guess Journal with Witch is about a chick who's parents died and is now living with her mom's sister.

Her mom's sister is an introverted author but volunteered to raise her.

It's got an interesting visual style for its genre. Like extreme visualizations of emotions.

I am now watching Journal with Witch.

I have yet to see the Witch, though one chick seems to be an author (so I guess that's the journal).

I saw Iron Lung yesterday. I guess it's a sci-fi horror movie(?) based on a 2022 indie video game. The main character is played by Markiplier, famous for "Pokemon Smash or Pass"

I just noticed Mastodon (web) now allows quote toots, but most instances have it disabled, so I can only sometimes do it.

That's not the sole reason (there wasn't an overt safe place for artists to post NSFW, so artists didn't move here), but I think for a community that clearly cares about minorities, shouting them off seems like a bad move.

Regular reminder that the reason why fedi/Mastodon didn't fully take advantage of the fascist takeover of Twitter and subsequent flight attempts was because black folks were shouted off the platform for not CWing literally every bad thing that happened to them.

And now we're stuck with a centralized BluSky that censors people that say bad things about Turkey, an overtly fascist Twitter, and a low userbase masto/fedi.

Slavery is wrong. This is a controversial statement, apparently.

The people kidnapped from the US and shipped to slave labor camps are kidnapped by the US government. Support for the United States of America is support for this practice.

Support for the USA is support for concentration camps and slavery.

Regular reminder that forced prison labor is slavery, but the El Salvador "prisons" include folks who have never been convicted (or even accused) of a crime.

The difference between concentration camps and prisons are normal trials.

This isn't even prison slavery. It's just straight up concentration camps, Labor camps, and state operated slavery.

The thing that triggered this is the knowledge that for the first time in 10 years, a child has died of measles. As my mom taught me, I cried. Because it's sad a disease that was eliminated 25 years ago here is having an outbreak.

And yet, the enemies of humanity sit on their keyboards and snicker about "liberal tears". I'm not a liberal, but the general target is anyone with empathy. Feeling sad about preventable death is "weak" to the death cultists. The strong worship plague, clearly!

I want to make this clear:

"Trumpism", fascism, and nationalism in general, is a position against all human freedom, and against the existence of all humans. It is a death cult. It treats empathy for the outsider as a vice. It makes the infected scream about "virtue signaling" while wishing for the torture of ones own neighbors.

Nationalists are misanthropes with good publicity. They don't REALLY care about their chosen ingroup either, they just know they have to pretend to.

I still think communism is too conservative, but I'm not sure markets will exist as a common thing without the state.

Weird how the US's #3 trading partner is a "foreign adversary"
