If anything, I take even more pleasure than I ever did in the retrocomputing I do. Messing about with BASIC and 6502 assembler and the like.
It feels more ... pure? Than it ever did, with my day job having turned into steering agents around all day.
And I'm not even complaining, I LOVE my job, and the work we're doing is (to me at least, I know I'm "supposed" to hate it!) super exciting.
But if anything this change has made me more grateful for my hobbies and the strong emotional connection I have to my old devices and code and all they bring to my life.

@feoh same here. retro computing is my retreat from all the day job madness. mind coding stuff and tinkering wit ideas until they either work or fail epically ... heh ...
