    @somebody I am honestly shocked by how much i want to hurt that man. It’s not my nature to be violent. And im sure its all the repressed trauma and rage finding a target acceptable, but holy mother of whips, i want him in stocks, whipped by every woman whom wants to leave a stripe, i want to throw rotten eggs at him, i want him to be so humiliated and so shamed he never touches pen to paper again.

    I am perceptibly peeved.

    @MissConstrue These people make my blood boil. They are more cruel than I could ever be especially towards the vulnerable. I just know I'd make damn sure it doesn't happen again, by any means. Edited to remove the worst of what I said.

    @MissConstrue My grandfather who was a medic in WWII once told me over his glass of scotch when I was little "anybody is capable of anything at any time". I didn't believe him, I couldn't comprehend that. Now, after some decades, I fully understand what it means to be pushed to any end.

    @somebody @MissConstrue
    This touches my nerves for sure. I've grown up in a family that suffered from the tauma of war and have developed a kind of hatred for the human race. Sorry.
    People trained by other people to murder others has never sat well with me. Uniforms hide nothing.

    @gaggedmedia_refugee @MissConstrue I'm sorry you feel that hatred. As cynical as I am about the future of the world as we know it, I think we are more than killers, though that is certainly a part of us and many other animals. He was not a killer in his heart but a healer, and he went on to contribute to the beginnings of one of the most important and overlooked fields of medicine. He was a gay man who spent the end of his life after his lavender wife who he was utterly devoted to as a friend died with a "roommate" and a daylily garden, which he'd spent his life making broadcasts about on ham radio.

    He did not love war, and not everyone who is sent to one, even willingly, acts out of hate when there is a greater hate they are compelled by the anger coming out of their love to destroy. I know that's not the nature of any of the wars waged by superpowers today, but there are people in the world who are fighting to expel those superpowers from their land who can't just be reduced to monsters still.

    You don't need to apologize to me. I hope you find some peace about it, because God knows we need that. I think that whoever survives this next gauntlet that is fast approaching might finally have seen enough to pass down all the right lessons in time. I just know I'm not gonna add to the grief we are already feeling, but also, I don't lie that it's going to get really ugly everywhere else really soon. The world is complicit in genocides, and the reciprocal price of that is coming.

    @MissConstrue @somebody

    Many years ago during one of the great famine that strike Africa, a journalist related the story of a man being methodically driven out from a refugee camp.

    He had stolen food from people. They drove them out in the most physically economical way possible because they were all starving, but drive him out they did
