Ok. This photo cracks me up. Queen Elizabeth II looking at the Iron Throne almost like "Why didn't I think of that?"

IMDb: Queen Elizabeth II meets cast members of the HBO TV series 'Game of Thrones' Lena Headey and Conleth Hill while Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh shakes hands with Rose Leslie as they views some of the props including the Iron Throne on set in Belfast's Titanic Quarter on June 24, 2014 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

@TheJen They asked her if she would like to sit on the Iron Throne and she politely declined, if memory serves.

@TheJen I just wonder what is going through her head in that moment. If she had seen the show or has any concept beside what her handlers told her.

Is this what the common folk think a throne represents? Bought with blood? Or more basically, I don't want to be part of their marketing campaign. While having a "job" that is 90% marketing, by showing up for charities or ribbon cuttings.

    Such a weird moment.
