what should I be on the lookout for here? I am a big Parallels user and given the terms you're using this sounds like a thing I'm likely to trip over hard
Oct 13, 2026, 8:18 AMI bought Parallels for my first Intel Mac. It routinely crashed the kernel. Some debugging later, it turned out that they didn’t know how to read the docs on when you can deliver IPIs.
They fixed the bug. In the next version, which they encouraged me to buy if I wanted the fix.
I will never give that company money ever again and would strongly recommend against anyone else doing so.
