Oct 12, 2026, 11:00 PMI was looking for the kind of old sub 100$ used laptops to test #atomique and i was face with a 98$ working PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz.
Damn. I am weak. I set aside atomique support for PowerPC to “much later”. But who knows this might convince it to give it a try. There is an EOL LuaJIT for 32 bit PowerPC. After all it does run on a 32 bit Atom here.
Will likely dual boot Adélie Linux on this as Mac OS X 10.5 is something I always want near me.
Oct 12, 2026, 11:14 PMTIL Adélie Linux uses musl not glibc. Not sure how this would affect of not building atomique (hosted) to run on it first.
I have not chosen glibc, it's just that #atomique source packages were from debian and that's the way it is.
@santi
Could be a really nice MorphOS machine x)
