Not sure what to bring? Here are some examples of things we've seen before:

    - Clothing
    - Fabric and knit accessories
    - Toys, electronic and non-electronic, vintage or modern
    - Lamps
    - Small furniture (things you can bring to a library safely)
    - Jewelry
    - Seasonal decorations

If you'd like to bring a phone for repair, we will have phone repair tools available, but *you need to bring the replacement pieces, if relevant.* We can't order them for you. This includes but is not limited to cracked glass, missing features like buttons, screen protectors, etc.

If you'd like to bring knives to sharpen, our standard limit is 3 blades per person. If knife sharpening is too busy, we may have to lower it to make sure we are able to help everyone.

If you'd like to bring jewelry, please keep in mind that these repairs are free and provided by volunteers. Expensive, valuable jewelry should be looked over by a professional, as most, if not all jewelry *can* be repaired. If you're not sure if the piece can be repaired and want a second opinion, we're happy to take a look at it.

We will always do our best to rescue any items brought to us, but for *all* items:

    - One item per visitor
    - We cannot order replacement parts, but we can help you figure out what you need, if necessary
    - All repairs and diagnoses are provided by volunteers for free, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Let me know if you have any questions, and we hope to see you on Oct 17th!

@RepairCafeFFX Repair groups are super cool.

I sew and do basic tailoring on my own clothes all the time now that clothes aren't manufactured well. I'd rather spend five minutes mending socks than $15 on a new pair.
