I'm finally done my sweater of mistakes!

I cast off in June, but it had several problems (body too short, neck too big, sleeve sized mismatched) so I reworked the collar, body and half a sleeve before I called it done (and was sick of working on it)

The upside is I'm very happy with it now! Perfect fall weight sweater, I love the colors and pattern, the yarn is super soft, and I'm wearing it all the time.

Close up of the yoke of a yellow sweater with a delicate lace-and-cables pattern reminiscent of basketweaving. The collar is twisted rib and comes all the way to the base of the neck, covering the shirt underneath. The whole sweater is in a slightly variegated pale yellow yarn. Background is rainbow colored stairs.
Me wearing my new yellow fall sweater. Yoke is the same as before, and now the sleeves and hem are visible with a broken rib pattern. In front of a rainbow fence (though only red/orange/yellow are visible)
Another portrait shot of me wearing the new sweater, smiling and showing off the pretty yoke

@hwesta wow that looks fantastic! I love how the short rows under the collar give an almost Peter Pan collar effect in combination with the texture. Such a happy colour too. Congratulations! “Nevertheless, she persevered” :)

@venite Thank you! I was a little unhappy with the look of the short rows but now you've recontextualized it and made me like it.

Sweaters are always an exercise in perseverance, and this one more than most :)
