    Fuck this fucking provincial government! Edmonton city council spends FIVE YEARS of careful consultation and planning to design a zoning bylaw to shape its future, to try to bring Edmonton back from the brink of an unaffordable car choked shithole.

    Then the fucking municipal affairs minister, who lives in Peace Fucking River, decides he knows more about planning a city's growth toward two million people, than the people elected to do so.

    This, a month or two after the fucking transportation minister, who lives in fucking Innisfail, decided to take 5 minutes between Jägerbombs to decree that he knows more about planning transportation for a city growing toward two million than its transportation planners and therefore bike lanes are prohibited.

    These fucking ignoramuses!

    This of course, probably not accidentally, cuts both major Alberta cities off from the federal Housing Accelerator program. Because if there's one thing these assholes can't handle, it's the feds doing something good and helpful - can't have Ottawa getting any credict can we?
